Balancing Life in the UK and Supporting My Family Back Home 💔

👋 I'm a 31-year-old nurse who moved to the UK last year, and I really need to get something off my chest. Nepal ma family lai support gardai ra yaha UK ma basnu kati garo raicha. I work long hours (60 hrs/week) and even take on extra jobs just to keep up. I send money back home to help my parents and support my brother's education, but it leaves me with almost nothing for myself. The constant worry of balancing my needs with my family’s is always on my mind. Sometimes, it feels like too much. Trying to build a life here while taking care of my family back home is exhausting. I just wanted to share this in case anyone else is feeling the same way and wanted to let you know that you’re not alone in this. 💛

We Need to Talk About Mental Health in Our Nepali Community

Hi community, I want to tell you about something really important. Being part of the Nepali community here in the UK, we hardly ever talk about mental health. We're always told to be tough, to keep our problems to ourselves. But here's the thing – life's not easy, especially when you're a single mom
